GOAL, OBJECTIVES AND SUBJECT OF THE JOURNAL

The Journal “Hydrodynamics and Acoustics” publishes original articles devoted to various fundamental and applied problems of fluid mechanics, acoustics, wave processes in mechanics, and reviews highlighting the modern trends in these areas. Its main purpose is to acquaint readers with new scientific results within the scope of a defined topic. The target audience is scientists, engineers, and graduate students interested in theoretical, computational, and experimental mechanics of liquid, gas, and plasma; hydraulic engineering; theoretical and applied acoustics.

According to the сurrent regulations of Ukraine, the Journal's subject corresponds to the specialty F1 - Applied Mathematics (cluster Mathematics and Statistics).

“Hydrodynamics and Acoustics” is a successor of the serial transactions “Hydromechanics” and “Bionics,” the journals “Applied Hydromechanics” and “Acoustic Bulletin” previously published by the Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The use of the published materials is regulated by the conditions of Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

The authors fully retain copyright and grant the Journal the right of first publication. In addition, they can post their work on the Internet for free.
