GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

The publication isfree of charge.

Scientific articles that correspond to the Journal's topic and contain an analysis of the results of original research in hydromechanics, hydraulic engineering, acoustics, or thematic review articles devoted to modern achievements in one of these fields are accepted for consideration. All submitted materials must comply with the principles of authorship ethics, which are an integral part of the editorial policy.

SUBMISSION AND CONSIDERATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

The basic form of article submission is the electronic one. The authors are personally responsible for the content of the manuscript formatted according to the Editor's instructions and delivered to the Editorial Board.

The following documents are required in addition to the manuscript:

  • the list of the authors (full transcripts of the names, ORCIDs, and e-mails are mandatory, the contact phones are optional);
  • scanned cover letter signed by the person authorized to be the contact author (download the blank).

The electronic manuscript is submitted to the official e-mail of the Journal: jha.kyiv@gmail.com.

The Editorial Office notifies the contact person about the receipt of the manuscript and the further course of consideration, including the results of peer review. The contact person is authorized to request additional information about the deadlines for acceptance for publication, etc.

If formal or significant drawbacks are identified, the Editorial Office informs the contact person about the need to eliminate them. In the event of rejection of the manuscript, a motivated rejection is sent on behalf of the Editor-in-Chief or Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

CONSIDERATION OF COMPLAINTS AND PUBLICATION RETRACTION

In case of violation of academic integrity and publication ethics, authors, the editorial board, or third parties have the right to file complaints with the editorial board. The typical reasons for complaints are the discovery of plagiarism, data falsification, ethical violations, duplication of publication, and significant errors that affect the reliability of the obtained results.

To consider the case on the merits, the Editor-in-Chief appoints a commission of competent experts from the editorial board and/or independent specialists (upon agreement with the latter). If the stated facts are confirmed, a decision is made to withdraw the published material, which is indicated on its web page. Information about the withdrawal is transmitted to the databases in which the journal is indexed.

A response to the complainant is provided through the official communication channel, usually within one month of receiving the complaint.
