Dear friends and colleagues!

With pain and anger, we inform you that on September 9, 2023, during the night racist attack in Kyiv, the Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was damaged by UAVs. The laboratory (large) corpus and some other buildings located on the territory of the Institute suffered significant damage. Fortunately, the incident passed without victims.

Unfortunately, the current financial state of the Institute does not allow us to cope with this disaster on our own. We are sincerely grateful to the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the prompt response to the problem, but the funds allocated to us are far from sufficient to eliminate the damage caused.

Therefore, the staff of the Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is forced to turn for help to everyone who cares about the fate of our institution in times of war. We hope for your support.
