A view from the outside |
In the course of interviews, a talk with the Director of the Greenpickle International Ltd. company, Declan Gordon Carroll was organized. Mr. Carroll has attended the IHM NASU with the purpose to discuss the possibilities of cooperation in the area of wind engineering. For the participants of ERAIHM project, it was useful to hear the opinion of a businessman who specializes in search and implementation of innovations and for already several years works in Ukraine. Mr. Carroll has pointed out both the strong sides of the Ukrainian market of innovations (high qualification of the specialists, uniqueness of proposed deliveries) and week ones (imperfect mechanisms of state regulation, lack of the experience in the innovation management for most of our research and engineering personnel). On Mr. Carroll's opinion, currently the most promising variant of participation of Ukraine in the European innovation activity is the involving of groups of Ukrainian specialists in cooperation in the international projects with external management. |
