Numerical results are presented of flow structure investigation in a flat channel in a feald of its sudden expansion. The calculations are based on a solution of full nonstationary Navier-Stokes equations in velocity-pressure variables using the finite difference method for identification. As a result, fields of pressure and velocities are investigated, a vortical structure of the circulation flow is studied behind a step, and an extension of this zone is determined depending on the Reynolds number and an expansion parameter. The obtained results are compared with known experimental and calculating data. |
