| Equations of motion of point vortices on a sphere are derived in the article. Fixed and relative equlibrium configurations for three point vortices are found. Geometic classification of possible motion of three point vortices on a sphere is given. To describe dynamics of three point vortices on a sphere plots of vortex motion on a phase plane are given. The article contains analysis of self-similar collapse of three point vortices on a sphere. |
