Universal discrete analogue of the non-stationary Navier-Stokes equation system in velocity-pressure variables is used to solve a problem on forced motion of incompressible fluid within a rectangular cavity affected by a moving upper wall. Peculiarities of pressure fields and arising recirculation vortical flows in the cavity are investigated numerically depending on the Reynolds number under a given geometry of the cavity. Numerical results are presented which illustrate effectiveness and a potential of the described approach. |
