| The problem of generation of surface gravitational waves by source of arbitrary strength that located at given depth in ideal incompressible fluid is solved by using the method of integral transformation. Asymptotic solution of the problem described the waves at large distance from source is obtained. The solution of the task about generation of surface waves by deeply submerged region of vorticity has been designed on the base of the method of image. The refinement of known results has been fulfilled. It is shown that the character of wave motion is determined by the spectrum of vorticity fluctuations. |
