| A mathematical problem is formulated of maltilayer porous medium saturation with a surface ponding and an exact solution to the problem is obtained. Three stages of medium saturation are considered in detail. Analysis of medium nonuniformity effect on surface fluid level, infiltration rate, position of the saturation front is performed based on numerous examples. It is established that only a low-permeability layer of large thickness is able to change groundwater flow essentially, to extend surface layer existence considerably. |
