Theoretical investigations of filtration processes in porous media with chaniging water-physical properties

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 9 (81) ¹ 2-3, (2007) p.122-138
The most important theoretical results are presented of water flow and interconnected physico-chemical, biological processes within natural and artificial porous media with variable hydraulic properties obtained during 2002-2006 years. Effective methods are described of calculating suspension filtration through multi-layer filter media at linear mass-exchange kinetic and iron removal from groundwater using filter plants, an analysis is performed of resistance crisis taking place in cohesiveness soils at internal suffosion. The above methods are illustrated by a number of examples.
