A structure of forced perturbations in the laminar boundary layer with perturbation source on the streamed surface

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 9 (81) ¹ 2-3, (2007) p.52-68
It has been considered the formation of perturbed fields of velocity and pressure in the laminar boundary layer over a deforming surface, on the basis of a system of equations written down in the moving coordinates related with the deforming surface. Dependencies of the amplitude characteristics of the disturbances of velocity and pressure on the phase velocity and wavelength of the deforming surface have been obtained. Critical values of the phase velocity in dependence on the Reynolds number have been found, at which the direction of the energy flux changes from the mean flow to the pulsating flow. A principal distinction of the 3D disturbed velocity field in a boundary layer from the 2D field has been shown.
