Asymtotic models of processes of viscous-inviscid interaction

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 7 (79) ¹ 3-4, (2005) p.67-72
Investigated are locally disturbed 2-D and 3-D flows in the laminar boundary layer for the case when longitudinal flow scale exceeds the normal one. Nonlinear models are developed for flows where the pressure distribution is determined as a result of the near wall flow interaction with the external inviscid flow. It is shown that for disturbances amplitudes exceeding some critical level viscosity influence in the region of nonlinearly disturbed flow is insignificant. Some problems solutions are presented.
