| The problem of the interaction of two planar patches of equal vorticity embedded in the inviscid homogeneous unbounded liquid is considered in the framework of the second-order moment model. The comparison of results with the data obtained from modelling studied flow by means of point vortex model and method of contour dynamics are carried out. In this case the boundary of application of point vortex model and the second-order moment model is determined. |
