By invitation of the administration of the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI",
Professor Emeritus of Delft University of Thechnology Leo Jansen has presented the intensive
study course "Sustainable Development and Backcasting Method" in Kyiv on 22 May, 2012.
The idea of inviting of this outstanding expert in Environmental Technologies and Ecological
Management has emerged in course of the visit of ERAIHM team to TU Delft in March, 2012.
A Coordinator of ERAIHM project Prof. Eugene Nikiforovich and partner from KTH (Stockholm,
Sweden) Dr. Olga Kordas have played the most active role in implementing of this intention.
The master-class from Prof. Leo Jansen is rare opportunity of improving of qualification for
all post-graduates, students and researchers interested in modern problems
of innovation management.
For the participants of ERAIHM project it was in particular an excellent
training on backcasting, studying
and practical application of which is an important component of expected
project deliveries.
