A resonance processing of the horizontal branched wells by hydroimpulse impact

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 17 ¹ 3, (2015) p.32-42
The problem on impulse-wave impact on a branched well due to opening/closing of the gate valve at its mouth is considered. It is shown that in branched wells the resonance frequencies exist for which the pressure value may exceed the the amplitude of the initial pulse by several orders of magnitude. According to calculated resonance regime, the several injection branched wells in the Oman fields were processed by means of a patented hydroimpulse device (HID). It is shown that the injectivity of treated wells has substantially increased.
