An interaction of rigid penny-shaped inclusions in a three-dimensional filed of non-stationary elastic waves

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 14 ¹ 1, (2011) p.30-39
The paper deals with solving of a three-dimensional non-stationary elastodynamic problem for an infinite matrix with multiple rigid disc-shaped inclusions by the method of boundary integral equations. The arbitrarily located inclusions are perfectly bonded with a matrix, their motion is characterized by the translations and rotations relative to the mass centers. The numerical results concern to the reaction of two coplanar penny-shaped inclusions of equal size and mass on the incidence of elastic plane non-stationary longitudinal wave. The influence of inclusions interaction on their kinematical parameters, as well as on factors of dynamic stress intensity in their vicinities is analyzed.
