| A general mathematical model of the dynamic elastic rod bearing the tank with a liquid is developed originating from the fundamental statements of linear theory of moving rigid body with the cavity partially filled with an ideal liquid and linear theory of thin-walled rods. A variational method is proposed for solving of the spectral problem describing the transversal oscillations of the system rod-tank-liquid. The results of computation of oscillation eigen frequencies and forms for the considered mechanical system are presented. |
