Forced harmonic vibrations and dissipative heating of viscoelastic shells of revolution with temperature-independent properties in the improved statement

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 13 ¹ 3, (2010) p.23-30
A problem on forced harmonic vibrations and dissipative heating of viscoelastic shells of revolution with temperature-independent properties and allowance of shear strain has been considered. A finite-element method for solving of the above problem has been developed. As an example, the amplitude and temperature characteristics of the cylindrical panel vibrating on the first bending mode have been calculated for the cases of simply supported and rigidly clamped edges. The effect of mechanical boundary conditions on the mentioned dynamic characteristics has been studied.
