Antisymmetric vibrations of the half-layer with a fixed edge

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 12 ¹ 1, (2009) p.32-42
The problem on antisymmetric vibrations of elastic half-layer with free lateral surfaces and fixed edge has been solved by a superposition method. The process of reflection of the first and second propagating normal waves has been considered. It has been analyzed how does the energy brought in the elastic half-layer distributes between various propagating modes. It was shown, that in this case, as opposed to the symmetric vibrations, there is no significant energy transformation from the incident wave to modes of higher orders.
