Sound signal propagation in the waveguide with a stepwise cross-section change

The paper deals with analyzing the propagation of tonal and pulse sound signals in a plane irregular waveguide with a stepwise cross-size change. Energy coefficients of wave transmission through inhomogeneity zone have been calculated for various waveguide wave dimensions. Typical changes of structure of the initial pulse signal passing through the inhomogeneity zone have been studied.
