The symmetry method in calculating and designing of acoustic thickeners

A new analytical method is offered for obtaining an exact solution for the problem on vibrations of rods, having complex geometry, on the basis of using the second-order differential equation with variable coefficients. The efficiency of such approach is shown on the examples of its realization when designing new profiles of thickeners.
