Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 9 ¹ 1, (2006) |
A problem of longitudinal deformation of an elastic semi-infinite layer under the action of various kinds of harmonic loads has been considered. In the range of relatively low frequencies (below the edge resonance frequency), a dynamic analog of the Sain-Venanat's principle can be formulated. When the semi-layer is subjected to simultaneous action of the self-balanced and non-self-balanced loads, the only non-self-balanced component should be taken into account in the far field. If the applied load is a self-balanced one, the considerable stresses arise only near the semi-layer's end. |
