Determination of wave field inside the finite hollow elastic cylinder under the action of the axially symmetric non-stationary loading

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 6 ¹ 3, (2003) p.18-25
A problem of axisymmetric non-stationary loading of a hollow cylinder situated on a rigid basis is solved. The conditions of the first fundamental problem of the theory of elasticity are set on lateral surfaces of the cylinder. Wave field inside the cylinder was determined with the help of an approach based on the time digitization of equations of motion and usage of the method of integral transformations. The received one-dimensional vector boundary problem was solved through construction of the matrix Green's function. The efficient approximate solution of the initial physical problem is received. The dependence of tensions in the cylinder on its geometrical sizes and time is numerically investigated.
