Sound radiation by grating formed by coaxial cylindric piezoceramic shells with the end screens. Part I. Theory

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 4 ¹ 2, (2001) p.11-17
On basis of the partial domains technique the way to predict the acoustical properties of a grating formed of piezoceramical shells, and having end screens shaped as cutted sperical sectors. The quantitative relations between grating acoustic characteristics and screens' physical properties are established. The deficiencies on the sound pressure, vibrational velocity and acoustic endergy are estimated. It is shown that the obtained accuracy of a physical fields calculation is appropriate for quantitative analysis of grating radiative properties.
