Sound radiation from open end of wedge-shaped waveguide. I. Method of solution and numerical algorithm

Sound radiation from open clinoid waveguide is studied, for which the ends of bounding planes do not lie on one circle. The basic attention is given to exposition of an analytic structure of wave fields and arguing of features of solving algorithm. Is is shown that for the considered problems there is an ambiguity at shaping of algebraic relations expressing the field matching on boundaries of subdomains. By analysis of numerical results the references on overcoming the indicated ambiguity are worked out with purpose to raise the precision of calculations.
