A plane symmetrical problem of the blunt-nosed rigid body penetration in the liquid with allowance for separation

The paper deals with considering of plane problem on collision of the blunt-nosed rigid body to a compressible fluid and immersion with the allowance for fluid separation from the shell on the segment of its wetted surface. The solution of the boundary problem is reduced to solving of the infinite system of the Volterra integral equations of the second order. The comparative analysis with the allowance of separation effect on the immersion process and without it have been performed on the numerical example for rigid circular cylinder.
