Refined technology of preparation of water-coal suspension

The advanced technology to produce CWS accounting for the experience and shortages of the use of known in the world "Reocarb" technology (Italy, ex USSR) is suggested. The influence of parameters of milling balls of ball mill on bimodal granulometric distribution of milled coal has been determined. The parameters of rheology characteristics and sedimentary stability of CWS, obtained in a ball mill, are presented. The limiting conditions on the presence of colloidal cooal particles in CWS for it using as a fuel for energy sector are founded. To increase the efficiency of coal milling and decrease energy consumption of the milling process, the variants of preparation of coal-water slurry (CWS) where "Rebinder-phenomen", is used in a technological scheme have been considered. The results of experimental studies, made in the same conditions, are presented. Basic quality parameters of CWS, prepared on the basic of Rebinder-phenomenon and without it, were determined. Technical solutions on design of mixing apparatus and the process were suggested.
