Bifurcation of stationary self-oscillations of flexible plates at the interaction with gas potential flow

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 16 (88) ¹ 1, (2014) p.3-9
Singular integral equations with respect to aerodynamic derivatives of pressure drop are used to investigate self-sustained vibrations of plates interacting with potential gas flow. Geometrical nonlinear plate deformations are described by Von Karman equations. Aeroelastic behavior of the structure is reduced to the nonlinear dynamical system with respect to the plate general coordinates. The obtained dynamical system are analyzed by combination of shooting technique and continuation method.
