Compact spiral vortexes

This paper presents one-dimensional inviscid models of compact spiral flows. They are compact compensated screw-like vortex, compact spiral vortex that has ring-like domain, and compact spiral vortex that has three constant vorticity domains. Second and third vortexes are also compensated: their overall vorticity is equal to zero. On the basis of obtained earlier relations that describe vorticity and azimuthal velocity fields, the analytical solutions for axial velocity and pressure disturbances fields have been derived. It has been shown that compact spiral vortex is the compact analog of q-vortex.
