Theoretical analysis of stationary biofiltration at non-limited velocity of biomass growth

An exact solution has been obtained of the steady-state biofiltration task when secondary wastewater purification was occurred by fixed biomass at unlimited growth rate. Three approaches to the task have been sequentially realized which took into consideration characteristic properties of forming dynamic equilibrium biomass state, hydraulic factor, biofilm physical features. Important consequences due to long-duration substrate feed at bioreactor with grain filter medium have been estimated at numerous examples when its concentration widely varied.
