| The results of numerical simulation of the degeneration of internal seiches of large amplitude in the narrow lakes are presented. It is shown that due to the three-dimensional focusing of internal waves of the splash the supercritical jet is appeared that extends in the front of the internal bore. It is discussed the possibility of interpreting the wake in the thermocline and on the surface of the water behind this disturbance as a manifestation of moving objects ("lake monster"). |
