Approximate calculation of jet pumps

On the basis of present experimental data on jet pump working in a wide range of Reynolds numbers and mixing chamber blockage coefficients, empiric dependences for calculation of jet pumps optimum are obtained, both with central and circular location of a nozzle. Evaluation dependences on determination of the influence of sucked liquid depth on the indicated parameters are offered. The relation between the necessary mixing chamber length and the distance to the nozzle with the diffuser opening angle size is found.
