Method of calculation of head power distributed conduit pipes

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 10 (82) ¹ 3, (2008) p.65-76
The solution of the differential equation of variable mass fluid flow for enforced flow distributive pipelines (DPl) with discrete dispersion of the fluid is suggested. The variables of the initial equation are expressed in terms of complete head inside DPl (under the effect of which jets flow outside) and in terms of \textit{x} -- coordinate (as independent variable). The obtained relationships can be used for designing long and short DPls and enable us to take into account the effect of variable values of pipeline parameters as well as parameters of the main stream and jets running out. The change of laws of hydraulic resistance along the stream is taken into account. The values of heads and fluid rates inside the DPl calculated by means of the obtained formulae practically coin side with the results of experiments.
