Plane problem of shock interaction of cylindrical body with cavity surface in compressible fluid

The paper deals with the early stage of à solid cylindrical body impact on the surface of cylindrical cavity. Òhe stated mixed non-stationary boundary-value problem with given boundary was formulated, its solution is reduced to joint resolving of infinite system of linear integral Volterra's equations of the second-degree and differential equation of body movement. In case simplified formulation the solution is reduced to infinite sequence of linear integral Volterra's equations. For both formulation the hydrodynamic and kinematic characteristics are obtained.
