| The achievements in development of theory and modelling methods relating to river bed processes in the Hydromechanics Institute of NASU are stated out during 1952-2007 period of time. This time the basics were formulated for investigation methods on fluvial flows and bed deformations of lowland rivers with sand channel, for bed deformation of mountain and submountain regions of rivers as well. More advances were achieved in modelling and estimation of sand channels and canal tractional and suspended load materials and in the vicinity of hydrotechnical structures as well. |
