Flow in ejector system with semibounded high-speed jet

The results of experimental investigations of flow parameters in air ejector system with semibounded high-speed jet are adduced. Consumption characteristics as well as pressure measuring and flow visualization in the interior of gas dynamic track were determined. Underexpanded cut off jet nozzles with simple configuration were used. The existance of an optimal ratio of parameters has been shown. Aerodynamic efficiency of ejector depends upon geometric parameters of nozzle for jet blowing and the shape of its conjugate with the mixing chamber wall. The flow-rate characteristics and efficiency of the ejector system can be improved by variation of the high-speed jet impulse magnitude and shape of gas-dynamic channel.
