| The present study is devoted to a problem of determination of hydrodynamic forces resulting from a response of a randomly and stably stratified ideal medium to the vortex-source. General formulae for components of hydrodynamic force have been derived. An alternative method for determination of a additional longitudinal component of the force, wave resistance, has been developed, such method being based on the use of the equation of the energy of the disturbed motion of the medium. To illustrate the findings, corresponding linear problems for infinite two-lauered and linear stratified media have been presented. |
