The paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental investigations of pressure gradient for steady averaged flows of suspensions of coarse solid material and water in vertical straight pipelines. The mathematical model of vertical two-phase flow is developed using the methods of hydraulics. Application this model and experimental data on the relative velocity of liquid and soled faces the functional dependence of a pressure gradient on the corresponding parameters is derived. The developed method is generalized for hydraulic transport of wide category of solid dispersed materials with different average size and density. The results on a comparison of computation and experimental data for a pressure gradient are also presented in this paper. |
