Mathematical model of wavelike near-critical flows of fluid taking into account possible flow deformation in a vertical plane its initial cross-section

The analysis is made of existing indeterminancies and contradictions in treating terms "soliton'', "solitary'' and "single wave''. It is shown that for the non-ambiquous description of near-critical flows, besides Froude number, in their initial intersection it is necessary to vtake into account also the degree of possible flow curvature in the vertical plane in the same intersection. A mathematical model is built of wavelike nearcritical flows considering the possible flows curvature in their initial intersection. For the conditions of the problem set we obtained the general and also partial solution for case of the hydrostatic distribution of pressure in the initial intersection of phenomena discussed.
