| The estimates of penetration of salt wedge before and after ship channel construction in the Bystry reach using two layer hydraulic model and three-dimensional hydrodynamics model are given. The essential role of entrainment of water from lower layer that result in vertical circulation and compensative flow of salt water near bottom that amounts to 15% of the discharge in the upper layer in the reach mouth. |
