| A review of forming and developing of the boundary layer theory together with corresponding physical and mathematical models is presented. One of fruitful semiempirical approaches elaborating by authors in the direction of development of the algebraic model of turbulent viscosity is described. Several applications of created theory for flow calculations in frame of boundary layer approximation are demonstrated. The examples of predictions of flow characteristics are presented. |
