Analitical solution of self-similar problem of submergence of symmetric wedge

A method for solving two dimensional similar water entry problems is presented. The method is based on the expressions of a complex velocity potential and a derivative of the complex potential constructed in the parameter domain. The method is used for solving the water entry problem of an asymmetric wedge. The fluid is assumed to be ideal, weightless and incompressible. The calculated hydrodynamics characteristics are presented for the cases of the asymmetric wedge entering vertically into a half-space of a liquid.
