Drop flow control near a solid surface

The reduction method of a spray resistance of moving surfaces by blowing air through a permeable surface is considered. Results of calculations of relative critical velocities of single drop, when its interaction behavior with the solid surface is ch nged, are given. Experiments let us get similar results for a spray jet and ground an important mechanism of automatically supported air clearance between perforated air-conducted surface and a spray flow which is moving along and interacting with the surface.
