| The technique of realization in a ship-research station of towing-basin tests is resulted, the purpose of which is the definition of a factor of residuary resistance and wetted surface of a planning vessel. A distinctive feature of a technique is that the towing-basin tests are conducted with the help two geometrically similar, but manufactured in different scales, models. The efficiency of a technique is demonstrated on an example of definition of a factor of residuary resistance and wetted surface of a planning trimaran consisting of a pushed forward center casing and two asymmetrical lateral bodies. As contrasted to traditional technique the present technique allows to simplify technique of realization of towing-basin tests and to increase accuracy of measurements. |
