Computer simulation of nonlinear sloshing in a cylindrical tank on the basis of the Hamiltonian type equations

The earlier offered by author model of two-dimensional sloshing in a rectangular tank is extended on the case of three-dimensional sloshing in a cylinder tank. This model is based on the exact integro-differential equations of Hamilton's type in contrast to the simplified equations of a different smallness order. This exact equations is represented in the matrix form, the block structure of their matrix coefficients is showed, particular attention has been given to the relation between single and double indices in the representation of a velocity potential and free sarface in the form of the single and double sums. The algorithm of a numerical integration of this equations has been worked out and tested in the case of nonlinear sloshing in the vertical cylinder tank which is accelerated in the horizontal direction.
