Features of simulating processes of organic contaminant removal from sewage using a small productivity purification plant

Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 3 (75) ¹ 4, (2001) p.20-27
Prerequisites and conditions of organic polutant removal by biological way from sewage using a small-size purification plant, including several reactor-mixres and preapitation tanks. Mathematical models are proposed for purification process taking into account pecuriarities of kinetics and hydraulic purifying in every reactor without and with active silt recirculation and in presence and absence of regenerator. A sorption model of biooxidation is separately considered against background of suspended particles of active silt. New advantages of its application for the given system and an oxigen regime model are shown, which are necessary for computation of aeration system technological parameters. When deriving oxigen reaction rate equations for biooxidation on inhibitation effect of various factors in counted including processes such as nitrification, denitrification. Mathematical models assumed are solved by numerical and analytical methods.
