| A thorough analysis was performed of the reguliarities of contaminant transport and accumulation in sediment layer within a wide range of the changes in model parameters. Two characteristic phases are distinguished at each stage considered. The conditions under which contaminant is confined in sediment are found. The limits are established within which exchange processes kinetics is of importance at extending contaminant down the sediment layer due to increasing their mobility at the first stage and decreasingit at the second stage. The characteristic time of contaminant redistribution within the sediment layer, the beginning of essential contaminent discharge. |
