Applied hydromechanics, Vol. 3 (75) ¹ 1, (2001) |
Developed and well tested algebraic models of turbulent viscosity and thermal conductivity are presented. Models are elaborated in the form of one formula valid along all the boundary layer thickness. By use of modifications and empirical coefficients to take in account action of several physical factors the models are generalized for application in computations of large class of near wall turbulent flows. Obtained approximate-analytical solutions and numerical results of velocity and temperature distributions, skin-friction and heat transfer coefficients are compared with experimental and computation data of several authors. |
