| The computational method of longshore currents in a near-shore area with arbitrary bottom configuration and the line of beach is offered. The method is based on refraction model with applying of average-out of amplitudes of water waves intersecting sides of grid elements. It allows to work problems associated with interpretation of results in site a zone of rays crossing and to specify more exactly a field of water waves height in area considered. The breaker line is determined with the help of Miche criterion on the base of calculated field of height of the transformated waves. The field of longshore currents is calculated using theoretical formula given by Lounguett-Higgins and Liu&Dalrymple. |
