Experimental investigations of supercavitating regime of flow around self-propelled models

The måthods and the results of experimental investigation of the supercavities on the different types of wire riding seft-propelled models at the ventilated and vapour supercavitating flow regimes in the motion velocity range V = 30-140 m/s are presented. The data of registered parameters of steady vapour and ventilated supercavities and effects of interaction between the vapour supercavity and the model hull and reactive engine are adduced. Some characteristic types of unsteady processes at different motion stages of wire riding models are considered.
